Founded in 1998, MYERS INK MARKETING is owned by Leslie R. Myers. She is an award-winning, veteran journalist with extensive experience in the media and marketing/public relations.
She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism, widely considered the top journalism school in the world. Born and reared in Missouri, Myers developed her professional career in Jackson, Mississippi, as a long-time columnist and arts critic for a major daily newspaper, The Clarion-Ledger.

Thus, Myers founded Myers Ink marketing company, first as a part-time enterprise to handle special projects. Later, while Myers was in charge of media relations for a major medical center, she attracted increased business as well as local, national and international media coverage for physicians and the institution.
In 2006, Myers moved back to her native Missouri to live in St. Louis, where several family members reside. Myers Ink Marketing, of course, also moved – and, since then, has expanded to serve a wide variety of local and out-of-state clients within the United States. Too numerous to mention, her honors include being selected to Marquis' Who's Who In The World in 2018 and 2019.
From day one, Myers always marketed her clients in a different manner from the ad agency competition, which tend to promote their own companies over their own clients. In 1998, she was recruited to become Director of Public Relations and promote 80 artists for Malaco Records, a major independent music recording company based in Jackson. Within 1½ years, Myers helped Malaco attract three Grammy Award nominations and a Lifetime Achievement win, an all-time milestone for Malaco. There, she discovered her passion for marketing and making stars of her clients, whatever their profession.
